MacintoshGUI Widget For Your Site
Things at MacintoshGUI have been going very well this month. We were featured on the front page of digg with over 540 diggs! Even better we were on MacApper, MacUser, iBlogr’s Mac Blog, The Ted Winder Blog, LeoMancini.net, MacMegasite and many others.
I’d be very happy to add yours to here if you’d like to display the goodie of the day in a shiny and nice widget. Simply all you have to do is display the image that is up at http://macintoshgui.com/external/badge The image you link is is auto refreshed every night with the goodie of the day! We’ve only got one type of badge right now, but we’re swashing bugs and working on horizontal and others If you don’t know HTML, or are simply lazy here is the code.
If you’d like to resize it, like I’ve done at this blog use height=”103″ width=”230″
If you’ve displayed the widget on your site, please post a comment below and I’ll link to your blog/site above.

I’m glad it’s doing well, it’s a great idea!
Also, there is no HTML code, it’s turned into the actual thing
You need to place it between
tags
Oh, and there’s one on my site at http://tedwinder.org/blog/?p=144
Thanks so much. Okay, the code, you can now see it.
Nice work on Macintosh GUI guys!
Oh, and Nich, you don’t need a br tag between the a href tag and the img tag
@Chris Thomson – If I didn’t the code would run all the way accross the side, into the sidebar and beyond. Is there another way?
Oh, thats because you have a badge above, but for just general use, there isn’t a need for a br tag
I put it at MacMegasite, but even 230×103 is too big for the sidebar. I resized it to 96% which fits nicely but is ugly.
@Chris Thomson – lol yes true
@Mike Cohen – Thanks a lot, I’ve added it to the list above. What do you mean, it fits nicely but is ugly?
