What Was Achieved, Created and What to See In the New Year

Readers thanks so much for reading. That may sound like it doesn’t means anything but it really does. Throughout the year this blog has been on 3 servers and I’m hoping it will stay at the current one.

A Notice About Hosting: This site was oringally hosted on Netfirms which was not the best. Later my friend started his own hosting company and offered me some free hosting. I appreciated it very much but felt guilty not paying. Now all my sites are hosted on 1and1 and everything is running perfectly! I’m not planning to switch anytime soon as I am very happy with the current setup, but please let me know if you have any ideas or find any problems.

How Often I’ll Be Blogging: The number one problem I have with blogging is, well doing it constantly. I don’t seem to have this issue at all with podcasting as I’ve done it for over 50 weeks non-stop (and enjoyed it!), but for blogging it is a little different. I’m going to try to blog at least 5 times a week. I’m really going to be using Wordpress Post Scheduling feature, I’m able to post blog posts in advance. This makes it very useful for times when I know I’ll be busy that day and I will be taking full advantage of this feature. So to wrap it up, expect 4-5 posts (max) a week!

What’s Coming For Macintosh GUI: Macintosh GUI is my startup me and Leo Mancini have created and traffic wise, it’s been going amazingly well. We’ve only been around for about a month (a month January 1st!), but have hit well over 28 000 unique page views, which was above our goal of 20 000. The readers shared their love by blogging about us or putting the widget on the their site. I’d like to thank MacApper, MacUser, iBlogr’s Mac Blog, The Ted Winder Blog, LeoMancini.net, MacMegasite and many others for helping get started in this big world. What’s coming next? I’m not really allowed to say (I guess that’s the universal rule for creating new products), but expect more than just a goodie of the day. Got Ideas? Fill the comment field below!

My Podcast: WOW, this year has been amazing! I was featured on TV twice, a few podcasts and various blogs! You can check out all of them hear and watch them all over here (the about page). In 2008 I’m going to try to make some more ad deals. If you’ve been browsing around www.Blastr.tv lately you also may have notice the new Sponsor/Advertise page. I would like to make more money from podcasting as I know from lots of fan mail that my listeners appreciate it, but I will keep it to a limit. I haven’t decided yet but I can promise you that I won’t accept more than 3 ad speaking ad deals ad one show, or at least run more than 3 per show. I’ve also Google Adsense ads below every post on Blastr.tv and some below the comments field of NichM.com I’ve been told that it looks good and that I haven’t overdone it, but I’d be happy to hear any comments you may have.

Wrap This Year Up: I’ve always been a strong person and never afraid much but one thing that does scary me is the fact that the year is almost over! T-MINUS 11 HOURS OF WRITING THIS! I mean think about it. We will never, never, never, never, never EVER have another 2007 in the history of the world. Well, maybe if they go to high and they have to start from one again… but I’ll stop rambling on!

All I can say is thanks for being supportive of everything I’ve done as it’s been the movation that’s kept me going!
